I am very, very, very upset right now. I can't stop crying. My dad just got home from work an hour ago and on his way up the road, he found one our cats...my cat...Little Kitty in the middle of the road. She'd been hit by a car.

She was the funniest little thing...she had a bad attitude, growling at everyone at the other cats and the dogs. She was pretty, too, but her blue eyes were crosseyed (she had Siamese markings though she was not a Siamese). However, she was affectionate when she wanted to be and she was one of those cats that you could hold and she'd sort of lay on your shoulder and stay there. She had short fur but it was plush and soft.

I received her as a kitten as a gift from my old horseback riding instructor, Vicki Longstroth, in Fall of 2001, a couple months after our house had burned down. She was eight years old.

I'll never forget the time a couple summers ago, my dad and I were sitting out on our front porch and we had a lot of alfalfa plants growing on the hillside in front of the porch. And this was yellow flowered alfalfa and we happened to notice Little Kitty coming up the hill from the housetrailer. She was coming up to the new house and when she got to the porch, her fur was tinged yellow from the alfalfa flowers and she had a few of the tiny petals scattered through out her fur. It was hilarious and we laughed at her, the poor thing. I doubt she ever forgave us for that.

She was a special kitty and leaves behind one descendent. Her son, Tornado.

Little Kitty, you will be sorely missed, little one. Requiescat in pace, mi amicus. Je t'aime, ma chat. Toujours.
